Of all of these careers, I am probably best known as an entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of Ireland's largest home technology company,
Smarthomes which I set up in 2002, along with my business partner Derek Roddy.
Committed to lifelong learning, I completed an MBA in 2000. This has given me valuable confidence & knowledge and broadened my understanding of business.
Other interests include fitness and martial arts which I studied for over 20 years, achieving black belts in both karate and judo, helping me maintain a balanced perspective throughout my life and work.
Today my other interests include property development, telecommunications, as well as working closely with my
Dragons' Den investment companies.
I believe that success is available to anyone who chooses it and works at it, and my passion in life now also involves working with and helping other people to grow and achieve success in business and in their own lives.
If you think I can help you in any way, please contact me.
